Thank you for your interest in becoming an ASAP Rescue volunteer. Volunteers are crucial to the success of ASAP Rescue’s mission and vision. If you love and want to help animals, there are so many different ways you can help!
VOLUNTEER REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Must complete a volunteer application and sign a liability waiver, prior to volunteering.
- Those under the age of 18 must have their parent or legal guardian complete an application and volunteer waiver on their behalf. The parent or legal guardian must also be present with the child, during any and all volunteer activities.

- Fundraising events
- Adoption events
- Fostering a dog or puppy
- Fostering a cat or kitten
- Feral/community cat Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR)
- Feral cat colony management
- Grant writing
- Social media
- Marketing/Public Relations
- Soliciting donations
- Posting and sharing event/adoption flyers
- Home visits with potential adopters
- Transport animals from shelters into ASAP Rescue
- Transport animals to veterinary appointments
- Transport animals to adoption events
- Photography
- Socializing dogs/cats
- Training dogs
- Walking dogs
